PRPHD 2023 call for proposals
The Île-de-France region supports scientific employment in line with business needs by co-funding doctoral grants. Eligible projects are those focusing on a DIM (Major Research and Innovation Domain) or QIM (Question of Major Interest) and involving a laboratory and a socio-economic partner.
The expected research projects will target the challenges of digital business development (IoT, artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data, robotics, etc.) and will focus on research themes linked to the economic and societal challenges targeted by the Region as part of the DIMs and QIMs.
This scheme is aimed at young scientists wishing to carry out their doctorate in partnership with a higher education research establishment and a socio-economic organisation based in the Paris Region.
The Regional co-funding for this doctoral contract is a maximum of €105,000 per doctoral student to remunerate their research activity.
Applicants for this grant must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Master 2 or equivalent, but not a doctorate,
- Enrol in a doctoral school in the Île-de-France region, in the 1st year of a doctorate at the start of the 2023-2024 academic year,
- Undertake to begin doctoral research in January 2024 at the latest.
